2015 is a big year for the adidas Superstar, and the model has already had a decent amount of collaborations and special releases.
Not quite qualifying, but coming close, are these adidas Y's Super Position pairs. The sneakers come from Yohji Yamamoto of Y3 fame and are based on the Superstar DNA. The most striking of difference here has to be the reworked branding, which has the three stripes hanging off the sides of the shoes as strings of thread.
Given the Yohji connection, these pairs do cost more than standard special edition Superstar releases. Both of the latest adidas Consortium Y's Super Position pairs are available now from Concepts for $260.
